Carriers such as USPS Priority, Fedex, and UPS will insure the package up to $100 for damage or loss during transit.  The coverage does not include mail theft, which has become a significant issue in recent times.  Please note that neither the shipping carriers nor Gemorie will cover losses resulting from mail theft.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide a shipping location that is safe to receive packages.  All shipments from Gemorie are mailed out with a signature required. Therefore the packages will not be left at your mailbox/doorstep. If a mail theft incident occurs the customer should notify the local police department and file a police report then inform the shipping carrier to trace the package to ensure that the package was delivered at your location.  Please check with your household members, neighbors, reception area or employer to confirm that the package has been compromised before filing for a police report.
